How this started...
My love of travel was instilled in me by my parents. As a kid we camped all over the East Coast, traveled to Porto Rico, the US Virgin Islands and Mexico. It was
further ingrained into me by twenty years of US Military service in the US Air
Force. After my career in the Air Force, I became a teacher and use my summers
to travel with my wife.
I started this blog to document my journey with my wife to
every US National Park. We both share a love of travel and National Parks. We
are attempting to check this feat off our bucket lists. Hopefully, through my
mistakes you as a reader will have the adventure of a life time as my wife and
I plan to do. I will possibly add cruises we have taken and will take. Most of this blog will be written after the fact but I may make a few on the road posts (simply because there is hardly ever a signal where we have gone😉).
This journey began last year in 2018 when we rented an RV from Cruise America and took my mother-in-law (rest in peace) and granddaughter to Yellowstone National Park. However, I will start with our most resent trip to Yosemite National Park and the US 101 Redwood and Coastal Highway. I will add photos and links to some of the places we stopped.
I feel that maybe the advice I can offer will help you in your travels...
